Dr. Delaney is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Supervisor (LMFT-S) and has been a therapist for over 20 years. She is well trained in family systems and evidence-based practices and techniques including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
Dr. Delaney fully understands that life is hard, relationships can be messy and complicated, and most people can benefit from the clarity and process of therapy. She really enjoys being a part of that process with her clients. Dr. Delaney’s role as a therapist is to empathize with, walk alongside, encourage, and challenge her clients. It is also her role to hold hope for clients when they feel hopeless

ABOUT DR. DELANEY
Robin Delaney is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Supervisor. She graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Special Education. Before becoming a therapist, Robin was a Special Education Teacher in the inner city of Baltimore. It was in that environment that she got very curious about the impact of family and relationships on individuals and that spurred her interest in therapy. This curiosity led her to Johns Hopkins University where she graduated with a Master of Science in Clinical Community Counseling. While at Hopkins, Robin learned about the family system and she was intrigued. She went on to pursue more education in therapy and to gain a better understanding of the family system. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a Doctoral Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. For over 20 years, Robin has been fascinated by relationships, family systems, connections, attachment, and human interactions. It is her honor to walk alongside her clients through the hills and the valleys of life. Robin and her husband live in Mount Pleasant and have four children.

Dr. Delaney’s office is located in central Mount Pleasant at the intersection of Route 17 and Anna Knapp Boulevard in the Village Walk office building.
Dr. Delaney sees clients in her Mount Pleasant office and virtually through a HIPAA approved telehealth platform.
